Five injured in Kurram blasts

PARACHINAR, Nov 14: Five persons including a woman were injured in two landmine explosions in Kurram tribal region on Wednesday.

Sources said that the first landmine exploded in Spina Shaga locality near the Afghan border.

Two men and a woman were injured in the blast, they said. The injured were identified as Mohammad Wali, Wahdat and wife of Ahmedzai.

The second blast also occurred near the Afghan border in Pewar Tangi area. Two persons identified as Mohammad and Wali Khan sustained injuries in the blast. The injured were shifted to a hospital in Parachinar.

The political administration registered cases against unidentified persons and started investigation.
