LAHORE, Nov 12: Human rights activist and Supreme Court Bar Association former president Asma Jahangir has expressed deep grief at the demise of former law minister and rights activist Iqbal Haider.
In a statement issued on Monday, she said Mr Haider was a staunch believer in his ideology and had advocated secularism during his life. She said the services of Iqbal as co-chairperson of Human Rights Commission of Pakistan were still a guiding hand for rights activists.
She termed his death a great loss for moderate and enlightened segments of society.
