SUKKUR, Nov 11: Sindh PML-F vice-president Shahabuddin Shah has said the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has divided Sindh into two parts by introducing the dual Sindh People’s Local Government Act-2012 (SPLGA).
Addressing a press conference at the press club in Thull town of Jacobabad district on Sunday, he said the PPP held the mandate given by people in contempt because people had been protesting against the act since its passage by Sindh Assembly but the govt was not taking their notice.
He claimed that the PPP would be defeated in the forthcoming elections with a big margin because the people of Sindh were not ready to vote for it.
He said the movement against the local government system would gain momentum after Muharram when the Pir Sahib Pagaro would also visit different towns of the province.
