At least 10 killed in Karachi violence

KARACHI: The deteriorating law and order situation continued to prevail in Karachi as 10 people lost their lives in various firing incidents, DawnNews reported on Friday.

A man was killed when an unidentified person opened fire at the Madiha Stop area of North Karachi.

Another man was critically injured when an unknown person opened fire at Golimar Chowrangi. He was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

A body was found in a sack from the Urdu Bazar area of Arambagh. Two more bodies were found in the Mewa Shah graveyard.

In another incident of firing by unknown gunmen, a man was killed in the Korangi Industrial area.

Two people were killed in a reported firing incident near Malir.

One person was killed after firing near New Karachi. Another man was killed near Golimar Chowrangi.
