Oil prices fall

LONDON, Oct 22: Oil prices fell further on Monday in the wake of sharp pre-weekend losses, as investors balanced poor Japanese export data against Middle East unrest.

Brent North Sea crude for delivery in December fell 34 cents to $109.80 a barrel in late London deals after rising earlier in the day.

New York’s main contract, light sweet crude for November, dropped 60 cents to $89.45 a barrel.—AFP
