ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister A Rehman Malik on Wednesday said he has sought the details of police encounters from all the provinces and a judicial commission will be assigned to probe the encounters.

Speaking to media representatives outside the Parliament House, he said the parliament should constitute a committee and assign it to hold talks with disgruntled Baloch leaders including Barahamdugh and Harbiyar Bugti. Interior ministry will provide all possible facilities to the parliamentary committee, Malik added.

He suggested that the committee must be comprised of at least one member each from major political parties to visit Balochistan and hold dialogue with estranged Baloch leaders.

The interior minister further added that the government wants to hold dialogue only with those who respect the flag and the constitution of Pakistan.
