LAHORE: Pakistan finished third in the SAFF Under-14 Football Exchange Programme that concluded at Tokinosumika Centre in Tokyo as the green-shirts won their third match against the Maldives 2-0.

According to a press release issued here by the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), Pakistan’s first goal was scored by Munir while Saeed Babar made it 2-0 on a penalty-kick.

It may be mentioned that this programme was financed by Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to enhance global understanding of Japan’s reconstruction efforts following the Great East Japan earthquake. —Sports Reporter
