The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, on Tuesday, attacked teenage peace campaigner and National Peace Award winner Malala Yousufzai as she was returning from her school in the Mingora town of Swat valley. The militants said that they attacked the girl for her pro-peace, anti-Taliban and ‘secular’ agenda.
