LAHORE, Oct 8 Samir Iftikhar, a member of Pakistan’s Davis Cup team, reached the final of the UNM Balloon Fiesta Invitational at the Linda Estee Tennis Centre in Alberque, US on Sunday.

According to the information received here, the 19-year-old Samir, who is studying in the US on the Athletics Scholarship, will take on Luis Ramirez in the final.

In the semi-final, Samir outplayed Danial Ferndez of New Mexico State University in three sets 6-3, 4-6, 6-3. —Sports Reporter
