A member of the PPP central coordination committee and former federal minister, Mukhtar Awan, led the demonstration.
The protesters were carrying banner and placards to condemn the American firm, Cloneaid, which claimed to have produced a cloned baby.
Talking to newsmen, Mr Awan termed the phenomena of cloning unnatural and said Islam does not allow unnatural things and behaviour to proliferate in society.
RESULTS: The Bahauddin Zakariya University on Monday declared the results of BSc civil engineering, final professional, second annual examinations, 2000.
Some 17 candidates took party in the examinations, of them 10 were declared successful, showing a pass percentage of 62.5.
