KESC register 6th win at PPFL

KARACHI: Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) extended their winning streak in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) on Tuesday when they defeated Afghan FC 2-0.

At the KPT Football Stadium here, two first-half goals in the space of six minutes gave KESC their sixth victory in eight PPFL matches to take their points tally to 20.

Aurangzeb Baba socred in the 20th to open the scoring before Abdul Rehman netted to condemn Afghan FC to their second straight defeat.

Elsewhere, the match between PMC Athletico and Pakistan Air Force ended in a goalless draw at the PMC Football Ground in Faisalabad.

Thursday’s fixtures:

NBP v Muslim FC (Agha Khan Gymkhana Ground, Karachi); KPT v Baloch FC (KPT Football Stadium, Karachi); Wapda v Army (Railway Football Stadium, Lahore).
