Rain turns weather cold

PESHAWAR, Sept 23: Light rain turned the weather of Swat and Lower Dir districts cold, forcing people to wear warm clothes especially during nights.

According to Met Office, Lower Dir received 8mm rain followed by Malam Jabba 6mm and Saidu Sharif 4mm during last 24 hours, turning the weather cold.

On Sunday, great rush of people was seen at shops of woolen garments in Timergara, Mingora and Saidu Sharif. However, they complained about high prices of woolies, including sweaters and shoes.—APP
