LAHORE, Sept 16: The University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, conducted on Sunday a combined entrance test for admission to engineering institutions in Punjab.
For around 5,000 seats of BSc engineering course, as many as 41,000 candidates took up the test simultaneously held on the Lahore, Kala Shah Kaku and Taxila campuses of UET, College of Engineering, BZU, Multan; College of Engineering, Islamia University, Bahawalpur; NFC Institute of Engineering and Fertilizer Research, Faisalabad; University of Gujrat, Siddiq Public School, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi; NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi; Government College of Technology, Rasul; Dr AQ Khan Institute of Technology, Mianwali; University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar and Balochistan Boy Scouts Association provincial headquarters at Quetta.
For the 500 seats of BSc engineering technology course, some 5,500 candidates appeared in the test at the UET, Lahore, Government College of Technology, Bahawalpur, Government College of Technology, Faisalabad, Government College of Technology, Rasul and Dr AQ Khan Institute of Technology, Mianwali.
The result of the test will be available on Sept 20 midnight at web link https://admission.uet.edu.pk. The key for self-marking has been uploaded on the website.
