KARACHI, Sept 13: Fahim Ramzan beat fighting Abdul Rehman in three-set marathon final to win the men’s singles title in the 22nd Sindh Sports Board (SSB) ranking tennis championship at the Bath Island Club court on Thursday.
Fahim, a local tennis coach, recovered from a set down to post 1-6, 6-3, 10-7 victory over Rehman.
Hania Naved inflicted crushing 6-0, 6-2 defeat on Wania Khan to reach ladies singles final where she meets Neha who has already made it to the final grade.
Malik Hamza also made a 6-2, 6-0 short work of Maheen Dada to cruise into juniors’ under-17 final where he faces Hassan Siddiqui on Friday.
