ATTOCK, Sept 8:  The district police officer (DPO) Attock, Muhammad Hilal Khan, has served show cause notices on three police officials including two SHOs for poor performance.

The district police headquarters said here on Saturday that during the monthly crime meeting, the DPO observed poor performance of SHOs of Rangu police station Inspector Asif Shah and of Hasanabdal Saddar police station Inspector Urangzaib Khan, who had been served show-cause notices. SHO Urangzaib Khan has also been transferred from Hasanabdal Saddar police station to CID Staff Attock with immediate effect.

Similarly, working of Anti Car-lifting Cell (ACLC) Jarikus on Hazara Road was also found unsatisfactory, resulting in issuance of show-cause notice to the ACLC’s in charge.

However performance of  12 other police stations of the district – Fatehjang, Attock Saddar, Attock city Attock Khurd, Bahtar and Pindigheb, Jand, Hazro, City Hasanabdal, New Airport, Basal,  Injra  and ACLC Mullah Mansoor on main GT Road were found satisfactory,  on which, appreciations were awarded to the concerned officials.

The DPO has asked the SDPOs and SHOs of all police circles and stations to take efforts for the arrest of all wanted proclaimed offenders and others wanted criminals besides completing and submission of the investigations of all pending cases.

POSTINGS: The DPO has appointed inspectors Mohammad Aslam and Ghulam Shabir and SI Tariq Masood as SHOs of Hassanabdal Saddar, new Airport Fatehjang and Bahtar police stations respectively.

While SI Mohammad Saleem has been appointed in charge Jarikus police post in place of SI Ghulam Hussain, who was posted in charge Pindigheb city Police Post.
