Six killed; Four arrested in Karachi violence

KARACHI: Six people were killed in firing incidents in various area's of Karachi, while police claim to have arrested four persons in connection with street crime.

One person was killed in firing near Qasba Mor in Orangi Town. Another dead body was found near Manghopir

In Karimabad, unknown persons fired upon a shop killing one and injuring another. Due to tense situation businesses and shops in the area closed down after the incident.

In Hyderi Market, a 45-year old man named Rafiq was gunned down in a targeted hit by unknown persons. On Chand Bibi Road, which comes in the Risala Police Station District, on man was killed due to being fired upon on the road.

The body of 24-year old Seerat was found in a canal near Kashmir Chowk in Old Golimar, whereas the brother named Farrukh who went out in search is now missing.

However, Gulistan-e-Jauhar and Soldier Bazaar Police arrested four persons and seized their weapons in different raids.
