The injured security men were taken to a hospital where their condition was stated to be out of danger.

In Khyber Agency, two members of a banned militant outfit were killed in a remote controlled bomb blast in Bazaar-Zakhakhel area on Monday.

Sources said that two members of Bara-based Lashkar-i-Islam were trying to enter a bunker of their rival group Tawheedul Islam when the explosive device planted near the bunker went off and killed both of them on the spot.

In Bara, security forces seized huge quantity of opium and hashish during raids on private warehouses in Alam Gudar area. No arrests were, however, made as nobody was present at the warehouses during the raids. The contraband was shifted to nearby FC camp.
