LANDI KOTAL, Aug 18: A low intensity blast near cellular phone and computer market in Landi Kotal injured one person and caused minor damage to a barber shop on Saturday.

Local officials said that unidentified persons concealed an improvised explosive device in the sewerage line near the market. “The explosion took place minutes before Iftar, smashing the windowpanes of a barber shop and injuring a passerby,” officials said. — Correspondent
