Ehsan Ali, Zia-ul-Haq and Mohammad Nawaz, who was also the man of the match, took two wickets each. Pakistan reached the target with ease in 31.2 overs with a loss of only five wickets. Captain Babr Azam did not last long but Imam-ul-Haq and Saad Ali scored 40 and 32 respectively.Pakistan will now play India in the quarter final on Monday, August 20.
