KARACHI: Pakistani umpire Asad Rauf has been accused of sexually exploiting an Indian model, according to reports in the Indian media.

Leena Kapoor, a model, filed a complaint to the police accusing Rauf of exploiting her after promising to marry her. According to her, he revealed he was already married with children but promised to buy her an appartment.

The two allegedly met in Sri Lanka and after that also met during the Indian Premier League. Rauf recently stopped all interaction after which Kapoor filed the complaint.

The police has confirmed that an inquiry will be launched into the matter.
