Pakistan set to participate in tenpin bowling championship

KARACHI: Pakistan is set to feature in the 22nd Asian Tenpin Bowling Championship being held in Hong Kong from September 2 to 11, the Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation announced on Thursday.

“We have submitted an application for NOC and funds to participate in event,” a spokesman of PTBF said.

Top countries like Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Iran, China, Australia, Dubai, Uzbekistan, Hong Kong, Kuwait, New Zealand, Philippine, Qatar, Japan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Macau and Indonesia are also participating.

Aleem Agha, Shabbir Lashkarwala, Saleem Baig, Muhammad Hussain Chatha, Zafar Iqbal and Ijaz Ur Rehman will be representing Pakistan in the event.

Singles, doubles, trios and team events will be played in the championship.
