NAROWAL, Dec 20: Two persons were killed and five others sustained injuries late Thursday in an accident on the Narowal-Muridke Road near Kot Gondal village.

A car collided headon with a truck as its driver could not see the oncoming truck with its headlights off. Car driver Ali Hussain and the truck driver died instantly while Urooj, Maham (8), Amir (11), Nazir (55) and Rasheeda Begum received injuries.

This was stated by Range DIG Malik Muhammad Iqbal while talking to newsmen here on Friday.

He said he wanted to improve facilities for police officials and visitors to police stations. For investigation purposes, he said an amount of Rs9.6 million had been provided to the Gujranwala division.
