THE Sindh police department recently demanded an increase in this year’s budget.

However, it looks like their wish will not be fulfilled.

Recently, expressing dissatisfaction over the dismal performance of law enforcement agencies in controlling law and order in the province, a lawmaker from PML (Functional) in the Sindh Assembly demanded curtailing the police budget and revising itaccording to their ground performance. She added that the proposed budget is pointless since the police have failed to deliver.
