ATTOCK, Aug 2: A man killed his brother, over a family dispute in Batioot village, located in the vicinity of Basal  Police station.

Police sources informed on Thursday that  A.M., resident of  Batioot village  had filed a complaint in Basal  Police station that  his two nephews M.N. and W.A. quarrelled on Wednesday evening.

Later on, M.N. allegedly  attacked his brother W.A.; fired from an AK47 and then escaped from the scene.

The brother died when he was being rushed to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Jand. Basal Police station has registered a murder case against the accused killer,   on the report of the deceased’s uncle and  further  investigation is underway. —Correspondent
