ISLAMABAD, Nov 21: Eid- ul- Fitr is likely to be celebrated in the country on December 17, according to astronomical calculations by Pakistan Meteorological Department.

Director Anjum Bari Farooqi said on Wednesday that the astronomical considerations suggested that there was hardly any chance of sighting the moon of Shawwal on Dec 15.—APP
