Nato supply routes, 'missing persons' discussed in PCNS meeting

ISLAMABAD: Parliamentary committee on National Security (PCNS) decided on Wednesday to finalise the recommendations for the recovery of the ‘missing persons’ by July 24, DawnNews reported.

The meeting, presided over by Chairman PCNS Senator Raza Rabbani, took place in the parliament house, Islamabad.

The meeting was attended by Mushahid Hussain, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Mehtab Abbasi and other members of the committee.

The meeting discussed the issues regarding resumption of the Nato supply routes to Afghanistan and recovery of 'missing persons'.

Speaking to media representatives after the meeting, Rabbani said that the foreign ministry will brief the committee in the next meeting over the issues of Afghanistan and relationship with the Nato.

The committee would also evaluate the progress over the implementation of Aghaz-e-Hudood-e- Balochistan, he added.
