ISLAMABAD: Ali Musa Gilani, son of former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, on Monday requested the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) that he would like to volunteer as an approver in the ephedrine quota case, DawnNews reported.
Musa was speaking to media representatives outside the court today. Moreover, he said that he had explained his point of view to the court.
The Lahore High Court approved protective bail Musa until July 30.
Rawalpindi bench of LHC has ordered Musa to appear before the trial court.
Musa criticised the media for misreporting the details of the case and said that the media was responsible for the suo motu notices that were taken.
Musa’s attorney said that his client was being dragged into this case for political reasons.
