FAISALABAD, Dec 16: Robbers stabbed and wounded a woman on resistance on Sunday night.

Four masked men sneaked into the house of Muhammad Sadiq in Chak 204-RB. They injured Sughran Bibi when she put up resistance, collected cash, gold jewellery and other valuables, and locked the family in a room before fleeing from the scene.

Dacoits snatched Rs200,000 in cash and gold ornaments from Khalid Qureshi, a commission agent of the grain market, in Sheikh Musa village in the jurisdiction of Bahlak police.

Thieves stole gold ornaments, electrical appliances and other articles from the house of Khwaja Rashid in Gurunankpura when the family had gone to attend a marriage ceremony.

Three bandits looted cash and jewellery worth thousands of rupees from the house of lecturer Tariq Javed in Niamat Colony on Jaranwala Road.
