PPP to win next general elections: Gilani

MULTAN: PPP senior vice chairman and former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said on Tuesday that he had never compromised on principles and served the people as per party manifesto.

Addressing a public meeting at the residence of PPP MPA Malik Ahmad Hussain Dehar, Gilani said he always respected the judiciary and appeared thrice before the Supreme Court.

He said he was the first prime minister elected with unanimous support of the parliament and served the nation for over four years.

Gilani said he worked as per the vision of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto for the welfare of the masses and the country.

The former prime minister added the Pakistan People's Party would win the next general election with the support of the people.
