Plea to transport dept

THE government has recently reduced the price of petrol by 10.47 per cent and that of CNG by Rs4.82 per kg.

In spite of that, the owners of local public transport, with the consent of the transport department of Islamabad/Rawalpindi, have increased the fares by Rs5 from stop to stop.

The department concerned is requested to roll back the latest fare notification.
