HYDERABAD, Dec 15: One of the founders of the World Sindhi Congress and the chairman, Sindh National Congress, G. M. Bhurgari, breathed his last in the Rajputana Hospital on Saturday.
He was 62 and a chronic patient of diabetes.
His body was taken to his native village, Jaggo Bhurgari, near Kot Ghulam Mohammad, Mirpurkhas district, where he was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard.
He was also a member of the Pakistan Oppressed Nations Movement (Ponam).
He had taken a leading part against the construction of the Kalabagh Dam and remained in the forefront on the water issue.
