LONDON, July 4: Oil prices slipped on Wednesday.

Brent North Sea crude for delivery in August sank $1.16 to $99.52 a barrel in London late afternoon deals.

New York's main contract, light sweet crude for August, declined 68 cents to $86.98 in electronic deals. “Crude oil prices reversed from yesterday's gains and slid lower, as the strengthening US dollar weighed on prices.”—AFP
