NOWSHERA, June 26: Two employees of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) and a police constable were injured here on Tuesday when people of Nizampur attacked the local grid station during a protest against prolonged loadshedding.
The protesters, allegedly led by Aquwat Shah, Abdul Rashid and Wali Mohammad, entered the Kahe grid station and ransacked the offices.
Police constable Hazrat Sher and two Pesco employees were injured when the enraged protesters pelted stones on the offices.
The Nizampur police station have registered a case against about 400 protesters. — Correspondent
