MONTREAL, June 22: Canadian inflation eased in May, helped by a fall in the price of gasoline, Statistics Canada said on Friday.

Consumer prices were up 1.2pc year-on-year, easing from April’s 2.0 per cent pace, helped by a 2.3 per cent fall in gasoline prices and the continuing fall in natural gas prices.—AFP
