PTV has done a good thing by starting a sports channel. However, its screen leaves much to be desired while covering cricket matches. The screen does not show the score of the team whose innings has ended and, two, individual scores of batsmen.

During Pakistan’s T20 matches with Sri Lanka and the two ODI matches already played, the screen showed ‘the target’ but not the outgoing team’s score.

Since the target keeps changing as the match progresses, a new viewer who has just turned the TV on would like to know the score of the earlier team.
