QUETTA, May 31: A 16-year-old married woman was shot dead in Brewery Road area here on Thursday, police said.

The body was taken to the Bolan Medical College hospital where she was identified as Jannat Bibi, wife of Ismail Khan Niazi.

Jannat Bibi, a resident of Killi Shahozai, had received a bullet to her head.

The cause of the killing could not be ascertained till filing of this report.
