TOKYO, May 26: Pakistan's Ambassador to Japan, Noor Muhammad Jadmani Saturday expressed hope that Pak-Japan relations would be strengthened with the exchange of business delegations.

Talking to visitors during his visit to Pak-Japan Friendship Bazar here he said the Bazar would provide a chance to promote Pakistan's culture and tradition in Japan.

Syed Ali Asad Gilani, Deputy Chief of Mission Embassy of Pakistan speaking on the inauguration ceremony of the bazar said, it is a gift from the people of Pakistan to the friendly people of Japan.

He said the bazar was to show solidarity with those people of Ibaraki prefecture who were affected in the wake of last year
Great East Japan earthquake and Tsunami.

He expressed gratitude to the Governor of Ibaraki prefecture and Mayor of Mito city who assisted in the event.

Speaking on the occasion Governor Ibaraki prefecture, Masuru Hashimoto, hoped that this bazar would go a long way to introduce Pakistani culture in Ibaraki and would further strengthen bonds of friendship between the people of two countries.

Mayor of Mito city called for holding of such a bazar every year. Later, Imtiaz Ahmad, a senior officer of ministry of foreign affairs, addressed the gathering and emphasized the need for holding more such bazars to project soft image of Pakistan.—APP
