KARACHI: The bronze medal winning snooker trio of Guangzhou Asian Games 2010 was presented with the remaining promised amount of 1.5 million rupees by the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) the other day.

Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani had announced a sum of rupees 3.0 million for the trio comprising Imran Shehzad, Sohail Shehzad and Shehram Changezi with each of them getting one million rupees.

The players received the first installment of the cash award early last year.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) have thanked the prime minister and PSB for fulfilling the announcement and inspiring the players to keep the country’s flag high in future.
