PTI’s public gathering

RAWALPINDI, May 24: The city administration has allowed Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) to hold a public rally in Liaquat Bagh on Sunday, making grounds for Imran Khan to enter Rawalpindi which is considered to be the stronghold of the PML-N.

DCO Saqib Zaffar said permission had been granted for the public gathering after a go-ahead from intelligence agencies, adding alternative traffic plan would be chalked out as Benazir Bhutto Road would remain closed during the gathering.

On Thursday, activists of PTI were seen establishing mobilisation camps and using loudspeakers asking people to attend the meeting.
