Superb strikes by Faaiz, Arsalan

LAHORE, Dec 11: Faaiz Rahim struck four goals and Arsalan Najeeb three to steer Sindh Horse to a comfortable 8- 3 1/2 win over Karachi Polo Club (KPC) in the December Cup polo tournament on Wednesday.

Arsalan and  Faaiz made a fine start for Sindh Horse, scoring three goals in the first chukker, and taking a convincing lead of 3- 1/2 over KPC which had half a goal on handicap.

Arsalan scored  the first two goals followed by a goal from Faaiz.

Faaiz was on song in the second chukker and scored two  more goals  to complete a hat trick. Atif Yar Tiwana slammed the  first goal for KPC in the same chukker, only to reduce  the lead 1 1/2-5.

In the third chukker, KPC scored their second goal through  Samee Ibrahim to further reduce the  lead but  Arsalan responded quickly scoring his third and final goal  to  increase the lead 6-2 1/2.

Maintaining  his brilliant form, Faaiz scored back  to  back goals  in  the fourth chukker before Atif  scored  a  consolation goal, his second, for the losers.
