Pakistan beat Proteas

CHENNAI, Dec 11: Pakistan beat South Africa by 61 runs in the World Blind Cricket Cup match here Wednesday.

Pakistan batting first scored 301 runs for 8 in the allotted 40 overs. Tariq Samuels scored a fine century and made 131 runs.

In reply South Africa could only scored 240 runs for 6 in the allotted overs.

Pakistan has already qualified for the semifinal.—PPI
