Sindh govt acts against ‘Mohajir Province’ wall-chalking

KARACHI: The Government of Sindh has come into action against the wall-chalking and posters  of the ‘Mohajir Province’ movement, DawnNews reported.

Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah held meetings with Director General of Rangers, Major General Rizwan and Sindh’s Inspector General of Police Mushtaq Shah during which he expressed his disappointment over the increasing incidents of targeted killings and ordered the police and rangers to increase their patrolling in the city.

The chief minister also issued directives for eradication of wall-chalking demanding the creation of a ‘Mohajir Province’, from the city.

Furthermore, Local Government Minister of Sindh, Agha Siraj Durrani ordered action against concerned officers for putting up billboards of the ‘Mohajir Province’ movement.

The police came into actions for the implementation of the chief ministers’ directives.
