GILGIT, Dec 11: The chairman of the Northern Areas Chief Court has appointed five civil judges to subordinate courts in the five districts of the region on an ad hoc basis.

Sources said Munir Ahmed advocate was appointed for Gilgit, Khursheed Ahmed Advocate for Skardu, Aazur Khan for Astore, Rahim Gul for Darel-Tangeer of Diamer district and Iqbal Hussain for Gangche.—Correspondent
