KARAK, May 14: Chountra Qaumi Jirga has demanded that the Zebi dam drinking water supply project should be made operational and its cost should be met from the royalty of oil and gas production. This was demanded in a meeting of the jirga held with its president Mir Ajab Khan in the chair here on Monday.

The meeting showed resentment over the excessive and unscheduled loadshedding and low voltage, which had caused low production of wheat crop. —Correspondent
