Unanimous resolution

ISLAMABAD, May 14: National Assembly’s (NA) standing committee on National Heritage and Integration has unanimously resolved that the administrative control of Pak-China Friendship Centre and National Monument may be given to the Ministry of National Heritage and Integration for achieving the objectives of its establishment in a befitting manner.

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Syed Amir Ali Shah. It recommended that adequate funds may be released to the departments to continue their activities.

The committee also discussed the functions and performance of the Lok Virsa and departments of archeology and museums and their pre-budget proposals sent to the Finance Division.—A Reporter
