Pakistan start off Asian GP with average results

KARACHI:Pakistan's four-member contingent started off their campaign with average results  in the Asian Grand Prix Series which is being held in Thailand from May 8-14.

In the first leg of the event held in Bangkok on Tuesday, Zeenia Parveen finished fourth in shot put, Rabia Ashiq finished fifth in the 100m with a time of 2:13:25, Farhan Ahmed finished fifth in the 800m with a time of 1:50:91 and Liaqat Ali finished seventh in the 100m with a time of 10:70.

The second leg will take place on May 11 at Kanchananburi and third on May 14 at Chonburi.
