CHITTAGONG, Nov 19: Bangladesh have axed captain Naimur Rahman as well as former skippers Akram Khan and Aminul Islam for their one-day squad after their Test series defeat against Zimbabwe.

The trio have been replaced by batsmen Tushar Imram and Sanwar Hossain and spinner Fahim Muntasir for the three-match series against the touring side.

Wicketkeeper Khaled Masud will lead the side for the first one-dayer in Chittagong on Thursday.

Bangladesh lost the Test series 1-0 after going down in the second Test by eight wickets on Monday.

Chief selector Mainul Huq warned of possible further changes in the remaining two one-dayers, in Dhaka on Sunday and Monday.

“Everything depends on the outcome of the first match in Chittagong,” he told reporters. Zimbabwe have lost their last 16 one-day internationals in a row.
