HYDERABAD, May 4: People’ Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI), in collaboration with the WHO, will introduce a supply management system through a software in all districts of Sindh to ensure timely and effective supply of drugs.

This was stated by programme director of WHO Dr Niaz Ahmed Memon at the concluding session of a two-day training workshop on logistics support system in a hotel here on Friday. The workshop was jointly organised by PPHI and WHO. During the workshop, representatives of pharmaceutical companies, PPHI officials and other stakeholders were trained about operation of this software.

Dr Memon said that under the programme, distribution of drugs would remain transparent and their stocks and other related information’s availability would be ensured.
