ISLAMABAD, April 29: The government should create new avenues for the betterment of the youth who are 63 per cent population of the country.
It was said on Sunday at the Pakistan Youth Leaders’ Summit held under the aegis of National Youth Assembly (NYA) in which as many as 350 young leaders from across the country participated and presented their views about positive aspects of the country.
The pivotal role of youth in electoral process was emphasised to make sure change through vote.
Vice Chancellor Riphah University Dr. Anees Ahmed, CEO Nayatel Pakistan Wahajus Siraj, President National Youth Assembly (NYA) Hanan Ali Abbasi and others were among the prominent speakers who said the youth of the country was prone to the conspiracy of divide and rule formula and their strength was not being properly channeled according to the national needs.The speakers that the youth must come forward as agent of change in this grave situation and the government should realise the need of the youth platforms at national level so that the participation of the youth in decision-making process could be ensured.— Staff Reporter
