ISLAMABAD, April 23: Floral art society on Monday organised a workshop titled “landscape design” in which relationships between indoors and outdoors and interplay of colours with natural settings was demonstrated in an interesting and natural way.

The major demonstration was presented by Maryam Jabbar, a landscape artist and interior designer from Dubai while Samina Khan, Iram Sohail and Sheema Umar also showed their artistic arrangements in relation to floral designs.

Earlier, president of the society, Samina Khan welcomed the guests and said the society would keep on arranging new and interesting programmes for the members of the society.

The interior designers told the people that designing successful outdoor living requires an ability to translate the vision, needs and desires of clients into unique and intensely personal places.

Maryam Jabbar said courtyards, gardens, water features, walls, groves of trees and simple plantings combine to create memorable settings for personal escape and relaxation. — APP
